Large Murano Glass Alta Vase, Blue, Made in Italy

The large Alta vases are made in Murano, Italy, using techniques handed down through the generations. Once the colored glass shape is blown, the hot glass is rolled on a bed of crushed glass chips and millefiori disks and it is then fused to create a dazzling effect on the vases. They are finished with silver foil to give a glittering effect.
