Murano Glass Lemon Figurine, Hand Blown in Italy

To date, I have purchased 8 of the Murano Glass fruits, two lemons, two different apples, 2 different pears, one lime and one orange. I absolutely love them as I have stated each time I have made a purchase. They are so beautifully made and just lovely to look at. Recently, I purchased a beautiful Bohemian glass compote glass bowl (from Etsy) which could not have been more perfect to embrace these delicate fruits with the the added touches of 14kt gold that looks like spun gold. The bowl sits front and center in the middle of our hutch...what a treasure to behold!

To date, I have purchased four of the small fruits….. individually, they are just lovely, but combined, they are stunningly beautiful with the various coloring and gold flecks. While I love each piece, I think the lemon is my favorite! So far, I have the pear, lemon, lime and orange. I am looking to buy a plum and maybe even another lemon and pear!

Catching the light from large windows, the lemons ( and oranges) dangle from the limbs of my citrus tree which is enjoying the warmth of my dining room for the cold winter months. These cheerful lemons add a sparkle to the tree until it blooms and produces fruit again.
